1. Description of the Service
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to set forth the terms under which Takyu Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom under number 17109349, provides a digital service that allows users to generate luggage transfer instructions and documents for use with third-party luggage delivery providers in Japan.
Takyu does not provide luggage transportation services and does not act as a carrier, freight
forwarder, or travel agency.
2. Role of Takyu
The service provided by Takyu is limited to acting as a facilitator that helps users prepare and organize information required for luggage forwarding services.
Under no circumstances does this service involve the physical handling of luggage, the guarantee of transport, logistics management, or the setting of carriers’ prices.
Takyu is not a carrier, logistics provider, or delivery company.
3. User Responsibility
The company has no contract, partnership, or agreement with the Japanese carriers listed
on the website.
The user enters into a contract directly with the chosen carrier.
The company is not a party to this contract
4. Responsibility
The user is solely responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information
Verifying all details, including the Terms and conditions, before using the generated documents
Ensuring compliance with the policies of the luggage delivery provider
Paying the carrier directly for the shipping service
Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the processing or delivery of luggage transfers.
Takyu is in absolutely no way liable for:
loss, theft, delay, or damage to baggage
errors, omissions, or negligence on the part of carriers
cancellation or modification of a transportation service
the quality, availability, or compliance of the service provided by carriers
the consequences of the user’s misuse of the service
5. Payments
Payment is made in Euros. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
By purchasing a pass, you gain access to the Service, as described in Article 2, according to the conditions of the selected plan.
Payments are non-recurring unless explicitly stated.
It does not cover shipping costs, which are paid directly to the Japanese carrier.
No refunds are available once the subscription has been activated, unless required by law.
6. Usage Limits
Access to the Service is subject to the conditions of the selected pass.
A Trip Pass provides access to a limited number of transfer document generations during its validity period.
A Monthly Pass provides access to the Service during the applicable subscription period and subject to reasonable usage limits.
Access to the Service may be restricted once applicable limits are reached.
7. Third-Party Delivery Services Luggage transportation and delivery are provided by third-party operatiors. While Takyu facilitates the preparation of transfer documents and instructions, delivery services remain subject to the policies, operational procedures, and service conditions of the respective provider.
Delivery timelines and service availability may vary depending on the provider, destination, and operational circumstances.
8. Service Availability
We aim to maintain reliable access to the Service, although temporary interruptions or maintenance may occasionally occur.
The Service may be modified, updated, or discontinued over time.
9. Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided through the Service are owned by Takyu or its licensors.
You may use the generated documents solely for personal use in connection with your travel.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
